AMERICAN EMPLOYMENT GROUP, INC. TO IMMEDIATELY HALT USE OF MISLEADING COMPANY NAME
Parent of American Employers Group demands American Employment Group
cease and desist use of name
SAN FRANCISCO, December 12, 2002 – Meeting the demands of
Applied Underwriters, American Employment Group, based in Sandy,
Utah, has agreed to halt the use of its name by December 22, 2002.
Applied Underwriters Inc., the parent company of American Employers
Group Inc., demanded in early November that American Employment
Group immediately cease and desist use of its company name.
Applied Underwriters' subsidiary company name, American Employers Group, is a federally protected service mark registered with the United States Patent and Trademark office.
Applied Underwriters is a premier workers' compensation and financial services company, founded in 1994, headquartered in San Francisco, California, and conducting business nationwide.
